Monograms

I wasn't really sold on the idea of having a monogram but I changed my mind.  I think it's a way to kind of tie everything together (and let's be honest, some of the ideas/pictures I have in my head are all over the place!)  We could put it on the programs, favors, it could be printed at the top of all the signs (signs for signature dinks, guest book signs, etc).

I REALLY like this one, the casualness of it.  And, it kinda goes with how we carved the little O+S wood hearts that are tied to the mason jars for cocktail hour tables.

I like both of these, too.  Think I like the pink K better than the gray..

My 1st bridal show...

Went to this bridal show today with my cousin/friend/bmaid Robyn, it was a lot of fun!  I hadn't been to one before (or really even had the urge to go to one) but I'm glad I went.  They had drinks, food and although I pretty much have everything, vendor wise, I did get some great ideas! 

Desserts

Here are some desserts I made for my sister, Amy's, 29th Birthday!  Her fav is german chocolate cake so I made a giant cupcake and mini cupcakes of that.  There's also red velvet cake pops and funfetti regular cupcakes, tasty! :)

I think she liked them :)

More on the handsome men...

You may remember my Previous Groom Post about liking the grey suits (not tux's, want something a little more casual).  We've talked more and have a better vision of how we would like the guys to look. 

O will most likely wear a slightly different color grey than the GM's, probably a lighter grey.  And he will be the only one wearing a jacket.

The GM's will probably wear a darker grey and only the vest and pants (white shirts underneath).  No jackets.

Haven't decided on a color tie yet, I like the skinny ties.  Maybe light grey or maybe incorporate a little pink in there...

This one is my favorite but no go, it's Burberry which means $140 for a tie!!!  Why do I like such expensive things??

Headbands for Imagrace :)

Displaying family wedding pics

I always thought this was a cute idea to display our family wedding photos and I really fell in love with it when I saw this...

Wedding Tree

I love the idea of doing this wedding tree, kind of as a guestbook.  If we do end up doing the tree, we still might have a guestbook.  But isn't it soo cute?!  Have a little stamp pad out and guests can thumb print their "leaf" and sign their name next to it.  After we can hang it in our house & have a reminder of all the guests that came to our wedding :)

Groom/Groomsmen

I haven't talked much about the handsome groom & groomsmen but O & I both love this look of these guys...all the outfits are from Express.

We know we like the color gray for them and vests.  Not sure about what color the tie will be yet and if everyone or just the groom will be wearing a jacket.  Don't you think they'll look so handsome? :)

I want a doggie just so she can be the ring bearer! :)

Ranunculus

Pretty ranunculus we got at the Farmer's Market yesterday.  I forgot how much I LOVE Farmer's Markets!  There's seriously nothing better than going to breakfast with my love on a weekend and walking around buying fresh fruit & flowers :)
